We have a couple of different ways that you can work in exchange for your equine experiences depending upon your interests and time constraints.

Working Students

  • Internships

Internships require a weekly time commitment and agreement from whichever instructor you would like to intern under. Interns will work with an instructor to learn the ins and outs of horsemanship. They might assist beginning students in tacking up their horses, or sit with someone who just wants a grooming experience, or even help out during birthday parties or camps. Interns might not ride every week, but in general we want you to get some time in the saddle during your internship so we will often have you hop on a horse between lessons or ride during partially filled lessons. We will also have regular intern experiences where we will ride outside or work on obstacles, these will be fun, voluntary group rides that only interns will be allowed to participate in.

  • Work Parties

We will announce work parties across our social media platforms, these are one-time projects that can be done in exchange for lesson credits. Some ideas for work parties include clearing trails, painting buildings, grounds-cleanup, fencing projects, etc. We will announce the days and times and how many lessons you can get credit for; this is a good way to participate in lessons at low or no cost.
